Dr. Portia is a wife and a mother to 2 teenage boys; she is originally hailing from the picturesque Island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean, Dr. Portia Basham holds a BA in Hospitality Management and boast over two decades of expertise in the Sales & Marketing sector of the Tourism Industry. Transitioning to full-time coaching, digital marketing, and virtual support services in June 2020 marked a significant milestone, culminating in a 6-figure income within just seven months.
As a dedicated Minister of the Gospel, Dr. Portia proudly earned a Doctorate Degree in Christian Leadership (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master's Degree in Biblical Theology (awarded the President’s Award for outstanding merit and academic accomplishment in Christian Leadership).
Her accomplishments extend to being a 5-time Best-Selling Author and the driving force behind notable initiatives such as The Women's Purpose Academy, The Purpose Woman's Virtual Agency, She Ministries, and SHETV NETWORK.
Noteworthy speaking engagements include featuring on the Forbes Council Platform addressing Women in Leadership and gracing the pages of various publications such as KISH Magazine, NBQ Magazine, Sister Leaders Magazine, and others. Beyond her professional endeavors, she carries the pride of being a former Crowned Pageant Queen, having held the title of Ms. St. Lucia in 2003.
Dr. Portia offers her clients an invaluable service called “Building Like A Leading
Lady.” This service is a unique brand strategy session to help women entrepreneurs
build a solid and successful brand. She starts by helping them develop a clear and
concise plan for making their brand stand out. She then helps her clients build a
plan to communicate their brand’s unique selling points in a way that resonates
with their customers. By the end of the 60 minutes session, her clients have also
created a plan on how to build an emotional connection with their customers that
